PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
M-370 is a multimetal, corrosion preventive additive for water-based metalworking
fluids, lubricants,
cleaners and coatings during product manufacturing.
This water-based additive utilizes VCI technology for maximum protection.
M-370 is also available in:
•
M-370 NS, a surfactant-free version,
which helps in some detergent formulations
•
M-370
HS, a high surfactant version for providing a source of a compatible surfactant with
levels high
enough to clean
•
M-370 C, which provides additional
protection to cast parts and surfaces which are rough
FEATURES

apply • Prevents flash corrosion on metal surfaces
• Very stable in hard water • Forms a hydrophobic film •
Will pass through a 1 micron filter
• Nitrite-free and phosphate ester-free
• Non-flammable • Passes ASTM D-4627-86 (Test Method for Iron Chip
Corrosion for Water-soluble Metalworking Fluids) at 2.0% by weight
• Usually can be added at any stage of production

SUGGESTED STARTING
CONCENTRATIONS
Short-term protection: 1 part
concentrate to 50-60 parts solution.
Long-term protection: 1 part
concentrate to 40 parts solution.
For protection up to two years:
1 part concentrate to 20 parts solution.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE
M-370 is packaged in 5 gallon (19 liter) containers, 55 gallon (208 liter) drums,
liquid totes and bulk. The product should be sealed and stored in a heated warehouse
to avoid freezing. M-370 has a shelf life of 24 months.
